A very good article. News channels are in the vanguard of the dumbing-down-of-the-Indian-viewer brigade on TV. When the revolution comes, they’ll be the first ones against the wall.

@Apurv: I got this mail too. Because I have given up and TV and avoid it altogether, I dont know if it’s for real or not. Didnt hear about cow-napping aliens from other TV watching family members too. How can the other channels miss such important events! Just shows how crappy other channels are. India TV is surely the saviour here… I’m sure when the invasion finally comes, they will come up with a alien-defeating device in the nick of time.
Or maybe they’ll just beam their news signal to them, and the aliens will self destruct.
Hope they give us our cows back before that…
