Something bad happened this morning. I was on the bus this morning, and a gay guy felt me up! He just pressed his crotch across my ass. That's an outrage on a man's modesty! I felt violated you know! He treated me like a sex object!! I am a PERSON for fuck's sake!Yeah man, fuck these people. Can't a man go out of his house without being objectified anymore??Dude, check out the jugs on that babe! Totally dude!

So true…him being the victim still continues to victimise the fairer sex…now imagine what we women go through almost everyday as soon as we step out of the house…such people should be banned from the country.

    Eesha // April 27th, 2009 at 1:12 pm

I had a guy friend (macho and all) once who refused to take the public bus with us because of his fear of being groped by men. HELLO?!? the ladies are definitely the braver sex when it comes to withstanding the wrath of the gropers.

Saad Akhtar (Author) // April 27th, 2009 at 1:15 pm

@penn, eesha: That’s exactly what I’m talking about here. Putting together a blog post about this… But I think in most cases Homophobia among men comes from a deep rooted secret fear of being anally raped.

On a similar line, most men are scared, irritated and infuriated by eunuchs. Even when they are not being bothers/harassed/being extorted by them..

Well, at least the punchline and the idea are somewhat similar.

    geebs // April 28th, 2009 at 5:49 am

Awesome!! This comic should be pasted on all buses.

    For safety and some conscience.

    good one

    i miss the delhi hypocrisy

off topic but: when in delhi and a delhite, delhi is a piece of shit

when in bombay, and a mumbaikar says so, you punch him in the face.

    similar concept.

    agree with every point
    except the word ‘jugs’ though.

    again: good one.

Saad Akhtar (Author) // April 28th, 2009 at 11:28 am

@vipul: Dude, you freaked me out there! I went back and checked the excel file. This is different from that topic, although yes, the punchline seems similar. But come on! I didn’t whack your idea there, lot of people says Jugs :D

@Xacarob: Oh yes. I do that. When in Delhi whine about how hot Delhi is and what the fuck were they thinking making a city in this furnace? But if a Bombay person whines about Delhi autos then I’m like, Dude Delhi’s has a rich historical heritage and was the capital of multiple dynasties. Bombay on the other hand was somebody’s dowry. How can you even compare Delhi autos to Bombay autos?
Also, the words spoken in the comic are used by the characters and not by me. I take no responsibility for my actions, past or future.

Apart from the fact that the chick in the comic does NOT have big jugs, spot on.

  22. 22
Saad Akhtar (Author) // April 29th, 2009 at 11:06 am

@hades: Nowhere was the size of the jugs under discussion, mentioned.

@orthodeic dog bed: What the fuck? Get a life, Matt.

    Varun // May 5th, 2009 at 11:36 am

Reminds me of a great Seinfeld episode, speaking of which I think you should do a comic on some of the tv shows running here (And I am not talking about reality shows :P )

  25. 25
Saad Akhtar (Author) // May 5th, 2009 at 11:39 am

@varun: You mean the latest trend on social issues? And by social I mean exploit-topics-of-shock-value-like-child-marriage types?

These serials have ruined my life and driven me away from the TV. They’re part of the dinner table conversation also. So of course I’ll do a comic on them :D

    Karthik V // May 18th, 2009 at 7:11 pm

    @Sameer Panchangam -

“These things tend to happen in public transport!”

Remove that exclamation, and italicize the “tend to happen”, and it seems like you’re justifying it ;)

    No offense meant!

Heterosexuals are the majority, we are more prevalent. Therefore it is more acceptable for heterosexual men to objectify women as most women are also heterosexual.
