Darkness took me, and I strayed out of thought and time, and I wandered far on roads that I will not tell. In those black depths--for the Balrog no longer burned--I shivered and fought to retain my will and identity. I felt the call of ancient anger and the claws of undying sorrow, and they in turn felt my faltering glow. No wait, that's not what happened. I got lazy and was reading Sea of Poppies. A good book.
