"The dumb lyrics are the result of the final residual cleaning to filter about references to rock, sex and drugs. Once that is gone, there’s nothing left in rock music." i beg to differ on this point. rock is lot more than just about drugs or sex....trust me... m married to a rocker. but u can't expect nething revolutionary from Mr. Javed Akhtar. no offence, he's a great lyricist but rock and him doesn't go hand in hand. Music sucked... though two out of three music director's are rockers themselves. Farhan Akhtar sucks too.... as a singer and as an actor as well. if neone out of those four was supposed to sing, it should've been Luke Kenny. he's a great singer. movie was ok.... just separate the music n lyrics.... but the ultimate point is Rock On gets a release, is a blockbuster n ppl love it.... while a movie like Paanch, tht's a real rock story... is still finding its way out of censorship... that was awesome….. and the much needed disclaimar too.
