So I was reading The Mother Tongue by Bill Bryson – a funny, if somewhat flawed book (according to the reviews) about the English language. And at one point the Old English and Old Norse topic came up.

Also, there was that Medieval Translation of Samuel Jackson’s dialogue in Pulp Fiction that was popular on the internets a few months back. (Click on Spoiler:Show)

And since some people on the internet are so great, there’s a community effort to translate the whole of Pulp Fiction script into old English. That would be the movie to watch. Till then there’s that excellent typography video of Jackson’s speech.
